Systems Integrator

Location: US-VA-30 miles west of Washington DC

This position requires an ACTIVE US Government TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.

 

Job Description: The SI will understand and oversee the analysis of user requirements and cross-functional group requirements. Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and the interrelationships. Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects. Apply, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance management techniques. Assist customer in establishing standards for information systems procedures. Develop and apply established standards for information systems procedures. Develop and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared, highly reliable, and secure network centric computing infrastructures. Construct sound and logical improvement opportunities consistent with the corporate information management guiding principles, cost savings and open system architecture objectives. The SI will have the ability to develop and mange to a production schedule, create and make presentations to high-level technical personnel, and provide the personnel skills and leadership essential to build and motivate an effective network engineering team.

 

Qualifications: A BS degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline. Ten years of progressive experience in systems analysis and engineering in highly complex and broad-base information technology (IT) settings. Eight years of superior functional knowledge of task order specific requirements, or developing functional requirements for complex integrated communications systems. Must have knowledge of global telecommunications infrastructure and the telecommunications business and regulatory issues that impact the provisioning and delivery of integrated communication services and associated local IT infrastructures.
