Program Manager

Minimum/General Experience

A minimum of eight (8) years experience in supervisory principles and practices to direct, review, and evaluate the work of subordinate personnel.

Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience managing staff for software development and system integration is required.

The Program Manager shall be capable of planning, directing and coordinating the work of the technical personnel involved.

Functional Responsibility

·         Shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.

·         Works as the customer interface, with the CO, the COTRs, government management personnel, and customer agency representatives and ensures their satisfaction.

·         Is responsible for the overall management of services under contract including:

·            Develops overall project plan and monitors progress of tasks and deliverables.

·            Responsible for meeting the cost and schedule objectives.

·            Responsible for project personnel management and scheduling. Provides technical and functional guidance to personnel as necessary.

·            Responsible for early problem identification, reporting, and resolution.

·            Responsible for project level reports and presentations to senior management on project status.

·            Ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

Minimum Education

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline. (May substitute additional six (6) years of related experience for educational requirement).

Other requirements:

PMP certification is required.
